Colorado Cross-Disability (CCDC) provides advocacy support for our members based on need and availability.
Please note: We are NOT staffed to handle emergencies. If you need immediate health care, are hurt, or being victimized, immediately call 911. For mental health emergencies, call 1-844-493-TALK (8255), or you can text “TALK” to 38255. You will connect with the Colorado Crisis Services.
We are funded to provide support to any CCDC member. However, if you are not a member, you only need to join (at no cost) at Become a Member. Continue reading for information about contacting us to be your advocate.
How do you ask for services? You can either call 303-839-1775 and press 1 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please include the following information in your message or email:
STOP before you call or email and answer this question: Is your issue about a benefit reduction, denial, or stoppage? If so, please put URGENT DEADLINE in the subject line. You have a short time frame in which to file an appeal, and the clock has already been ticking.
If you need an accommodation to speak with us, such as a sign language or a foreign language interpreter, we will arrange to have someone available for the intake interview. Your need for an interpreter does not determine whether or not we take your case.
Our advocacy team consists of trained, NON-ATTORNEY advocates. All advocates are trained to act as your voice, ensure that your rights are not violated and help you understand all of your options. We help exclusively with disability-related problems and specialize in access to healthcare.
We are here to help people with disability-related issues. Please call ahead for an appointment.
